Aija konst
is an emerging End-of-Life Doula trained through Douglas College. She grew up along the Skeena River, on the traditional territory of the Ts’msyen people (Terrace, B.C). From a young age, she found comfort in trusting the land & its natural cycles. Now, living on the territory of the Haida Nation, Aija continues to find beauty & solace in the natural process of decay & it’s role in sustaining life.
Aija holds a deep respect for the natural world & it’s full spectrum of life & death. She is passionate about working with plants & incorporating their supportive qualities & knowledge into her practice. Committed to serving the communities that raised & supported her through her own experiences of grief, she offers care with humility, empathy, and respect. Believing that honouring grief & love is a lifelong practice, Aija remains dedicated to listening to the stories and wisdom that emerge from people’s hearts.
